These are ultra high performance mono band arrays (160 or 80 meters). The Hi-Z 8A is a unique array with all elements active in a circle which provides stellar RDF (directivity) performance. This design provides the best performance in the least amount of space. The RDF and Front to Back ratio of the Hi-Z 8A array is the best available to date commercially. This design easily outperforms long Beverage and various loop antennas in many ways. This array utilizes the Hi-Z amplifiers at each element.
The Hi-Z 8A system dominates the top band receiving arrays.
