Message-ID: Hi folks, The new Hi-Z SS2 or Shack Switch version 2 is now for sale on the DXE website. It differs from the SS2-Plus by not having USB computer control. It is now on the www.hizantennas.com website as well. It is HIZ-SS2 part number at DXE. Remember SS2 has no USB control and SS2-Plus is USB controllable. Both have the 360 degree continuous rotation in either direction to select array direction. No Stops. You can read the manual or new product description there on our site. This unit will replace all the older shack switches and we will eventually no longer make the simpler versions. After making them for 10 years or so we can no longer profitably make 5 or 6 models that do the same thing. The new SS2 will work with any Hi-Z array. Just go to the SS2 link first on the main page which will take you where you can download the manual or new product release. Watch for more new things to arrive at DXE in very short order. We are now replacing the 75 ohm amp with a new model with far better specifications than the old style. It will be on the DXE site soon as HIZ-PRE-AMP-V2 Happy New Year everybody! Just a little better on noise figure and IMD handling is all. Reception would be about or very close to the same.
