[Hi-zreceivingarraydiscussions] new product release.

John,

I believe that. I started out with a 4el with 60’ spacing but some constraints on real estate led me to back off to the 3el. Though I still use the 3el and am happy with it I have more flexibility with real estate these days and plan next summer to either move back to the 4el or make the big jump to a 4-8Pro or a Hi-Z 8.

I plan to leave the 3el in place and do some A/B’ing between it and whatever I put up, so that should be interesting!

73,

Mike, W1MU

I can attest to the effectiveness of the triangular array with the 50’ spacing.
I did extensive A/B testing on 80m over three seasons, comparing it to a 450’ 2-wire Beverage running NE/SW. The Triangular Array was as effective as the Beverages in 100% of the cases in which it was tested, and often it was better (if for no other reason that it was switchable).
I used 23’ verticals on homemade mast stubs with standard copper tubing as a ground rod, painted the verticals a flat black, and put the array out on a section of lawn. It was invisible and it worked well.

Hi Steve,
Yes, you are right. DXE as of Thursday has the items in their
warehouse but unfortunately they are not on the website yet.
I have no information yet when they will be placed there. I was under
the impression they were ready so I released the product.
I am sure they will be there shortly. They have formally accepted
the product so there are no issues except to make the wheels turn.
