bd, jorge..
sometimes, sailboat rope works for a few  seasons....low stretch...the sun will ruin it eventually..
i think the wood posts will not hurt performance..
phillystran is super, lasts long time....but  $$$$$..
hasta pronto, amigo

Subject: [Hi-zreceivingarraydiscussions] HiZ 4-8pro verticals guys

Hello

I am in a windy location. The fiberglass on my verticals is bended to the
direction of mostly winds

I will need to put a set of 3 guys, supported on elevated wood posts, 6 ft
tall, to prevent horses to hooking the guys. I want my verticals to stay
straight, also on windy days

1) this wooden supports will affect the system performance?

2) what type of rope to use that last on sun and rain? thinking on fishing
rope but maybe will not last

thanks in advance!
