[Hi-zreceivingarraydiscussions] 160 Meter Inter mod Followup (new question)

I was out back today looking over the Hi-Z.  And as a reminder I am using the system that allows me to share the Hi-Z between two transceivers.

I was looking for the red light on the antenna element pre-amps and I noticed only the S, SW, W and NW red lights were on.  
I normally feed 13.8 volts down each of the coaxial lines, however for the Inter mod diagnosis, I disconnected one of the shack to Hi-Z coax

cables.
Once I reconnected the 2nd coax feed line up to the power source all 8 antenna element pre-amps have the red light on.
I am just checking to make sure that is how it is supposed to be?
I was trying to work the 9K2 last night, so by the looks of things I was only using 4 active elements.
