We are looking for several test sites, folks who are willing to install this system and give us feedback over a month or so. The system in its initial release will replace the control cable. Installation is simple. Just disconnect the current control cable, and wire the TX unit to the shack switch and wire the RX unit to the phase controller, simple point to point. The range that this system will cover can be out to over 2000ft. If interested please contact me directly. We will evaluate your QTH and decide if that is a good Beta candidate. We will offer some special pricing and or other value in exchange for your efforts and reporting. The goal at this time is proof of range in a variety of locations and configurations. I am already doing exactly that. The only wire that goes to the 4 sq is the coax. All switching is done remotely and wireless. I am also feeding the array dc voltage via a bias t. I talked to you about this Lee when I purchased the array. Since I have the experience, I would be more than happy to give it a good workout. I apologize for that. I should have not been so quick on the draw. In any event my intent was to indicate that this approach to controlling the array(s) works just fine. I have been doing it now for almost a year with great success. In addition, I have the ability to remotely switch in a gelcel to power the array for "A" "B" testing of power feed. Once again, sorry to spray the ether with this dribble. > -----Original Message----- > From: Hi-zreceivingarraydiscussions [mailto:hi-zreceivingarraydiscussions- > bounces at hizantennas.com] On Behalf Of Joe Wilkowski > Sent: Wednesday, May 29, 2013 11:03 PM > To: 'Hi-Z Receiving Array Discussions' > Subject: Re: [Hi-zreceivingarraydiscussions] Hi-Z Wireless Beta Program > > Funny you should ask.
