You can leave it there Randy. There is not enough loss in your feed line to
worry about. Installations with very long feedlines may encounter a slightly
higher noise figure especially with the older style Hi-Z amps.

My array is aprox. 400' from the shack. The preamp was out at the array. I
now have it in the shack on the array side of the feedline going into the
75/50 ohm transformer. Can I leave it there or should I put it back out at
the array?
