Good morning all.
I have recently added a 2 element K1VR Spitfire to my shunt fed 100'
vertical. The NE element corner is approximately 75' from one of my 4SQ
elements. I noticed last night that I have no indication that the array is
working on 160m. I can apply power to the array and hear no indication that
the array is working. It is working fine on 80m and 40m. I am thinking that
the array is now being influenced by the 2 elements of the Spitfire.
I would like to test the array controller and have a RigExpert AA-54
antenna analyzer. Can I use that to inject HI and LOW signals into the
array? I can also detune the new Spitfire elements and see if that changes
things.
I have an older 4SQ system with 80' per side spacing about 200' from the TX
vertical.
Any thoughts?
