In fact one was so close to one customer it nearly knocked him out of his bed early one morning. While it is impossible to design a circuit to withstand such an event, several customers leave the system powered up 24/7. It would be a better practice to power OFF when not in use. The Hi-Z Amp has a relay that when the system is not ON shorts the input for protection. While not totally fail-safe, it might just be enough. Cheers / 73 Dick KO7N
